Gabriele Toselli
Short biography:
Gabriele Toselli is currently a Senior Backend Engineer at Serenis.
Software quality, team collaboration, and a deep understanding of the business domain are the key pillars of his approach. Gabriele strongly believes that the best software emerges from the intersection of thoughtful technology and real human needs.
His software development philosophy is deeply influenced by Domain-Driven Design (DDD), which he considers a valuable guide for modeling software around the language and concepts of the domain. In CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns, he has found powerful tools for designing scalable, flexible systems that can evolve with changing business requirements.
Agile practices, including Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Pair Programming, are a constant source of inspiration in his daily work. Gabriele is convinced that technical excellence stems from iterative, collaborative, and feedback-driven development processes.
He previously contributed to the growth of Golee, a product startup aiming to digitally transform the world of amateur sports, where he led the design of backend systems and overall software architecture.
Outside the tech world, Gabriele is also a Scout leader, a role that has taught him the value of leadership, community, and teamwork—principles he brings with him into his work as a developer.
