Info Tickets

T&Cs – Ticket purchase*, cancellation and refund

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop or move it to an alternative date if the set minimum number of paying attendees won’t be reached in due course, or if any other force majeure causes will occur.

We’ll notify all attendees about the confirmation or cancellation of the workshop as follows:

  • 10 days before the date of the workshop – for online workshops,
  • 4 weeks before the date of the workshop – for in-person workshops.

In case a cancellation or date change is decided by Avanscoperta, all attendees will be fully refunded the course fee only (e.g. no transport or accommodation costs will be refunded).

Paying attendees can cancel their ticket (both online and in-person workshops) under the following conditions:

If the refund request arrives:

  • 4 weeks before the course start date: we will fully refund the ticket;
  • less than 4 weeks before the course start date: we reserve the right to withhold the ticket fee.

*Our ticketing system is provided by Eventbrite.

No-show

In the event of a no-show (a participant who does not show up for the course without notice), no refund will be due. It will be necessary to purchase a new ticket to participate in a new edition of the course.

Online Workshops

Tax information

INDIVIDUALS (general rules – applies worldwide)
Suppose you register for one of our remote workshops as an individual. In that case, Eventbrite will ask you to provide us with your personal tax/fiscal code (National Identification Number, Social Security Number, Codice Fiscale, or similar). The Italian Government requires this information, and we need it to issue the ticket.

INDIVIDUALS (ITALY + EUROPEAN UNION)

According to European OSS (One Stop Shop), if you register yourself as an individual/private (not through a company/a VAT number), and your fiscal residence is in Italy or in other EU country, you must pay the VAT rate established in your country of residence.

INDIVIDUALS (EXTRA EUROPEAN UNION)

For all cases of people who are fiscally resident in countries outside the European Union and who register as private individuals (not through a company/VAT number), the payment of VAT is not expected.

ITALIAN COMPANIES
If you register for one of our remote workshops as an Italian business, you will pay Italian VAT.

EU-BASED COMPANIES
If you register for one of our remote workshops as a European business, Eventbrite will automatically deduct the Italian VAT from your order. Yey! :-)

NON-EU-BASED COMPANIES
If you enrol in one of our online courses as a company, and the company is based in a foreign non-EU country, VAT is not due.
After you enter your VAT number, Eventbrite might display a red error message. Eventbrite is not able to detect the fact that COMPANIES and INDIVIDUALS with fiscal residency outside the EU don’t have to pay Italian VAT.
This amount will be added to your order automatically and you will receive an invoice with the correct amount shortly after. If you choose “pay by card”, we will refund the sum (it is not an automated process).
Please ignore Eventbrite’s warning and carry on with the purchase.

In-Person Workshops

Tax information – In-person Workshops (Italy)

According to EU VAT law, we must charge VAT for online ticket sales for in-person workshops with the same laws as if we were selling tickets at the door. This means that EU citizens including businesses and non-EU citizens / businesses must all pay VAT tax.

Tax information – In-person Workshops (Germany)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for private/individual buyers
