Gianluca Padovani

Gianluca is a software craftsman, the CTO at Coders51 and a technical trainer at Avanscoperta, specialising in TDD and Microservices.

With over twenty years of experience in software design and development, he has worked across a wide range of industries, including embedded systems, industrial automation, manufacturing, and entertainment. He has successfully delivered diverse software solutions both independently and as a collaborative team member.

Since 2005, he has served as a Team Leader and Coach within Extreme Programming (XP) teams, fostering agile engineering practices and high-performing development teams. In recent years, he has led the adoption of Scrum and Kanban methodologies, serving as a Scrum Master and helping teams continuously improve their delivery processes.

He is highly proficient in C++, C#, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, and has developed a particular passion for functional programming over the past several years, specializing in Erlang and Elixir.
