A 3 days interactive workshop on the most advanced topics of Domain-Driven Design like Command Query Responsibility Segregation and Event Sourcing.
The workshop will be led by Greg Young and facilitated by Alberto Brandolini
Target Audience
Architect or Senior Developer with a strong interest in Domain Driven Design and in Command Query Separation (CQRS), Domain Events and Event Sourcing.
Requirements
Please, bring your own laptop with you. You’ll need to develop on your favourite platform and IDE, not to waste time on another platform’s technicalities…
Also having read Eric Evans’ book on Domain-Driven Design is recommended.
For those coding seldom, some “Katas” are recommended too, not to be unprepared when it comes to coding again.
Labs and Exercises
The goal of the workshop is to collaboratively build a fully working implementation of CQRS and Event Sourcing. There will be code, games and simulations. A maximum of 14 people will attend, to facilitate interaction.
